Here's a summarized sample Patent Infringement Case between two major corporations in the Graphic Arts Industry,namely Agfa and Creo.
The Case:
Agfa launched a patent infringement trial againse Creo for multi-cassette plate loaders for CTP(Computer To Plate) Systems,asserting 6 formerly granted patents.
Final decision turned out to be that the 6 patents Agfa had claimed were unenforceable because of Agfa's deceiving the US Patent and Trademark Office(USPTO) when applying for and obtaining the involved patents.
